Bedford-Armonk Rotary Club: A Hub for Community Service and Global Impact

The Bedford-Armonk Rotary Club is not just a local community service organization; it's a vibrant hub where dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds come together to make a tangible impact in the Greater Bedford area, including Armonk, Bedford Corners, Bedford Hills, Bedford Village, Katonah, and Pound Ridge. Our club is a part of Rotary International, a prestigious global network of over 1 million business and professional leaders committed to making a positive difference in their local communities and supporting humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Local Commitment, Global Reach

Our club is renowned for organizing signature events such as the much-anticipated Blues & BBQ for Bedford and The Christmas Tree Sale, which have become cornerstones of community engagement and joy. We also take pride in nurturing future leaders through sponsoring Interact service clubs in local high schools, fostering a sense of service and responsibility among the youth.

Inclusive, Diverse, and Welcoming

We hold bi-monthly dinner meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., featuring inspiring speakers who bring diverse perspectives and ideas. These meetings are not just gatherings but melting pots of innovation and camaraderie. You can find the details of our meeting locations and special guest speakers on this page.

We are excited to announce that at our upcoming Bedford Armonk Rotary meeting, we will have the privilege of hearing from Trina Ward Fontaine, the dedicated leader of the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry. Under Trina's direction, the pantry has become an essential community support pillar, uniquely positioned as the only weekly choice food pantry for 21 Northern Westchester communities. With a history spanning over three decades, the pantry's commitment to ensuring accessible and dignified food assistance is unwavering.

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity last December, the Bedford-Armonk Rotary Club significantly contributed to Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH), bringing smiles and educational enrichment to young patients. The Rotary Club, known for its dedication to service and community support, donated 250 children's books, including 60 in Spanish, demonstrating a commitment to cultural inclusivity and the importance of early childhood literacy.
